LA Rams..
and yes I realize that you can take any team multiple weeks. I'm just trying to dodge Road Favorites and divisional game.s That leaves me with the LA freaking Rams. It would feel better if it was a one-done pick scenario.

The Denver Broncos. My condolences OC! Love it. Chargers are going to surprise people tonight with how complete their defense is - and it's healthy minus Perryman (middle linebacker). I really don't see Denver scoring more than 17 offensive points unless they get great field position after turnovers. Plus, the Chargers have a LOT of offensive weapons and are healthy. The o-line remains a question mark though and that is more important than anything. I think when the game is over people will walk away thinking the Chargers defense is more dominant than Denver. Chargers win 24-14.

Believe it or not, I'm actually glad to read this, makes me more excited for the game A few things...Don't forget, we were 6-2 to start the season last year, 4-0 before Siemian hurt his shoulder. Things spiraled downhill pretty quick but we were rolling there for a bit. Our Oline became more horrendous as the year went on, but we've upgraded the majority of that, at least ON PAPER, and do have one of the best centers in the league to boot. Defensively we struggled against the run, which we've addressed with large physical bodies to hopefully fill gaps. We have some monsters inside now to go along with the speed and versatility on the outside. I have a ton of faith in Siemian too. Despite our garbage offensive line last year, early on Siemian was able to cover up for it with his smarts and ability to make all the throws. Some say he's only a game manager, but I just don't see it. Not a gunslinger either but he has no issue attacking downfield when he thinks the opportunity is there. If he gets average oline play, he'll have a ton of success with his weapons on offense. Defensively we've reshuffled a little but still have the best secondary imo. I loved TJ Ward's leadership and energy, but dude was ranked near the bottom in coverage for safeties. With him gone and Justin Simmons in, we're probably going to be even better in the secondary than last year. I think it'll take a little while, both in this game and the season in general for us to find our rhythm, but once we do we'll be a handful. All in all, looking forward to this one! I wonder who gets more sacks, Bosa or Miller? Or how about the whole defenses in general!?!? Can't wait to find out.

Siemian looks great and you are faster and more disciplined in all 3 areas. Very complete team and going to be rough on the league. I didn't expect your QB play to be this good this fast, but our defense really isn't doing anything to get him out of rhythm. What a disappointing start for the chargers!

Fuck! Close one. They lost a lot of close games last year. They need to win those this year if they want to turn things around. The West is up one on the Chargers... Fuck!

And what a difference two series makes! Great game. We had opposite analysis of the game and matchup but were both kind of right in the end??? AFC west is a buzzsaw. See you in LA.
