I should elaborate.
This game is obviously influenced heavily by old school games, examples being the original Deus ex, but most noticeably System Shock.
The ability that this game has to really throw shit at you, or show you things in such an out of the box manner is astounding. Mimics that transform themselves as office chairs only to jump at you in a murderous attempt to kill you never stops being a surprise and constantly keeps you on your toes and suspicious of everything around you really adds to the already impressive atmosphere. And by the way how fucking cool are those "Looking Glass" screens? (by the way the name is a reference to Looking Glass Studios) its hard to explain but shit I've never seen anything like that in a game, and sometimes looking at or through them at different angles reveal secrets in the game (how to unlock hidden safes for example).
Multiple ways to play and accomplish goals is really welcomed in this game too.
I've heard a lot of people play this game once and think "eh its good" but than replay it to find out how great it truly is. Its a game that needs to be played over again to truly appreciate it. Im not even half way through and I'm loving it.
I highly recommend it.

Just beat this game. Highly recommend it. Ending is very different than what you may expect but it helps deal with the philosophical theme of the game (empathy and trolly problems) quite well.
I very much enjoy this game.
