Anyone getting this game? It comes out tomorrow. I've been watching people play it on youtube. The game looks really good.

Want my advice? Wait a week or two. See how people react to it. Not IGN, not GameSpot, but actual people online. Its a Ubisoft game, they have really been shitting the bed lately.

My internet really sucks. I bought the game through steam. Download is 4 hours. WTF
Damn, I hate AT&T but that's the only thing available

My bro got it for me for my birthday, and I like it so far. Multiplayer can be a bit more expansive but I'm only a few hours in. Not really true "open world" considering you can only connect with 3 other players, but it does have a bit of a basic RPG element, which I'm all for. This game comes waaaaay short of a game like Destiny though.

I've never played destiny. I'm more into the single player games. I watched a lot of videos of the game. Its looks fun. I still have 3 hours to wait for the download. So maybe I'll play tomorrow..

Thanks man! And I actually prefer to play this game single player, for now. Sometimes you get into a party with knuckle heads and it makes it harder.

Got to play it some lastnight. So far I like it. Its a little confusing at 1st on what you are suppose to do next. I'm playing on the hardest level, I think its called insane.
I'll play more tonight

Having fun playing the game. The area is huge. It is hard to do missions and be completely stealth. I've done it on some but many times I get spotted.
The game is almost a Hitman and Farcry merged together. So if you like those two games, you'll like this one.

I usually just Rambo shit and roll around the area I'm targeting with my guys in assault mode. Unidad aint shit LOL

Are you playing on the hardest level? Unidad is no joke with that. Those guys can shoot. LOL
I'm doing all the "Production" people 1st. I just started a 4 level difficulty area.
The game does have some glitches. A couple times I got stuck in a mountain, Now I have a side mission where I have to take a helicopter, I get to it and take off, but it doesn't tell me where I have to go. I've done it 5 times already. Samething each time.

I'm playing on the one below the hardest. Maybe I should crank it up haha
I haven't noticed any glitches on my side missions yet. Flying that prop plane is a bitch though. That's the hardest vehicle for me.

The planes I can do fine, even landing is ok for me. I can't get the helicopter to fly right.
The hardest level. It just makes it so they can spot you easier. You can only take a few hits, and a sniper can take you out in 1 shot.
Overall I like it. I like to do everything possible in a game. So I'll be playing this one for a while.
On the PC, I can't find the achievements.. Do they not have them for PC games?

Liking it's single player
LOVING it when playing with friends. Easily one of the best co-op games I've ever played
Great shooting mechanics. Stealth stuff that's actually enjoyable; not a fucking chore. Gorgeous scenery. The landscape is so fleshed out and vast. The draw distance (how far you can see stuff before it disappears) is like over 3,000 kilometers. Mountains, forests, jungles, deserts, lakes. It's all stunning. And back to the shooting. Man, do I love it. Everything is accurate, so you feel like a proper top tier soldier and all the guns have a certain heft to them. Pumping out a few shots in to a dudes chest never felt so good in a game. Favorite gun combinations so far, MK14 DMR and Vector 45 SMG, or the L115A3 sniper rifle and an ACR assault rifle. With extended mags on all those suckers
Tip for flying helicopters. Holding L and R triggers on a controller at the same time, or W and left shift buttons together on a keyboard, is how you fly straight, at high speed. A lot of people seem to be struggling with this
Tip for guns. Go in to the trigger sections of the gun parts to change firing modes. Some of them come with three round burst modes, but aren't selected by default. Also, noise signatures are a real thing in this game. A suppressed rifle is still a hell of a lot louder than a silenced pistol and enemies will still hear them if you're close enough to them
Tip for skill perks, get the one that allows you to ignore the damage and range penalties for using suppressors. And if you get at least one bar in each skill of a certain category you get the "epic" one at the end. Oh and exploding drones are fucking awesome. Get THAT one asap

Looks like Patsox has been playing.. Nice
I tried to use a helicopter a few times to stop the convoys. It Didn't workout well lol
I did see the 3 round burst. But I mainly play in stealth mode. I don't need the 3 round burst. I don't know how you guys can run and gun it. There are to many people running around reinforcements are always coming in.
LOL I'm still using the M16 and sniper rifle that you start out with.

What level are you guys? I'm only at level 17 right now.
How do you guys play? You just all willy nilly, meaning just doing whatever is next or closest. I do one area at a time, and I do everything in that area. I started with Production and I won't do anything else until all the production areas are completed. Then I'll probably go to security next.

I haven't played in a few days, so I don't remember my level, but I think I'm playing pretty randomly. Whatever missions they assign me, along with side missions, I complete those first. I'm trying to get all the files etc before I move on to the next set of main missions, which I assums is a new area.
I also use the sniper rifle, paired with His AK.

There is a side mission I'm stuck on. I've failed at it like 6 times already. Its in Villa Verde and its where you have to protect some radio beacon. I got like 10 seconds left and it got blown up.
I'm not crazy about the tagging the vehicle side missions either LOL.

The way I approach the missions is when I first go in to a new area, I look for the little white exclamation mark ones. Those mean intel, where you can choose to open up more resource stuff, like fuel, coms, food, meds, or rebel ones that let you add or enhance the stuff the rebels can do to help you, or the blue one, which is skill points and guns and attachments. I always go blue the first couple times, because I want to see what new guns and attachments there are in the area
After that I go for the yellow intel stuff on the map, because that opens up the story missions for the area. From there it's just what do I want to do next. Usually determined by what guns and attachments are there and if I want them. Then what skills I want to unlock and what resources and how many medals do I need to get them. Once I'm satisfied with all that, I go through the story stuff and then move on to the next area

Once you have those you can lay them out on the streets so when the cartel guys come in their cars a bunch of them will get blown up. After that you just need to kill the stragglers before they get too close to the radio

I do have the mines. I didn't think about doing that. I'll try it out.
I'm not much for using mines, C4 or grenades.
I'm going to try and do a mission without using my gun. I'm going to try a sneak around and knock everyone out. I'm not sure if it will work because I don't know if the bodies disappear if you just knock them out.

They don't seem to disappear but I don't think it matters. Sometimes you'll snipe a guy and you only get "suspected", even though there are plenty of other enemies walking by that spot. Then after a few seconds, it goes back to clear like nothing happened lol
And I'm only level 9. I only play for about an hour then I want to go back to playing SMITE. I'm somewhat addicted to that game.

The bodies do disappear after a few seconds, it tends to very on the time. If they see a dead body they will start to hunt.
I tried that protect the radio signal thing again. Did it 6 more times and failed all 6 times.
Mines suck. The locals just seem to run right over to them and step on them LOL.
5 skull areas.. Just started one. Damn, they are no joke.
But overall, this game is so good.
I don't know what SMITE is, I'll have to look it up
