"I learned that 62,979,636 Americans are absolute mother fucking retards."
You're right.
We should have embraced socialism and its soul crushing effects.
We should have ignored the naïve, disastrous foreign policy and the danger it resulted in for our only true ally in the Middle East.
We should have celebrated the ugly spectacle of having violent black criminals like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin embraced by the Department of Justice and held up for pity, as if they were actually "victims".
We should have championed a Trojan Horse candidate like Obama and his intended successor, so that they could continue to enrich themselves while (in Hillary Clinton's case, particularly) simultaneously portraying themselves as champions of the people they were actually exploiting.
We should have overlooked the sneering hypocrisy and blatant disregard for the law, and the Constitution, exhibited by the two frauds mentioned above.
We shoulda overlooked the perjury, as well as the destruction of material evidence in defiance of a Congressional subpoena. You know, that stuff that you, or I, WOULD SPEND YEARS IN PRISON FOR.
We should've overlooked the devastating effect such double standards will have on our future generations, right?
Seriously?
We should have allowed Slick Barry to load the Supreme Court with more ivory-tower liberals like SoftShell Tacomayor to complete his true mission of turning America into a socialist shithole.
We should have pretended -- along with you and all those other folks wearing blinders -- that HRC wasn't an inept opportunist riding her husband's coattails despite AN ALMOST COMICAL 30 YEAR RECORD OF FAILURES, WILLFUL NEGLECT AND INCOMPETENCE in matters great and small....and put this smug basket of self-entitlement into the most powerful position on Earth.
What a tragedy we didn't do that! What could've POSSIBLY went wrong? After all we WOULD HAVE BEEN MAKING HISTORY! And that's what's important, goddamnit. Right?
Luckily, most WOMEN saw through the arrogant liars' pathetic façade and voted for Trump!!! That, by far, is the most delicious facet of this TRULY historic event. All across America, thoughtful women rejected, out of hand, their self-professed "savior".
How come you didn't? Gosh, maybe you're the retard.
Hmmm, maybe the gals just wanted someone who admitted he'd like to "grab 'em by the pussy" and wasn't afraid to say it out loud (rather than these effete, low-T clowns that gravitate to the Democratic party because they were the last guys picked in sandlot football, and never got over it).
THANK YOU, LADIES. You've proven to be the smarter sex. AGAIN.

Like I said, absolute retards. Coming from someone who lists their cat dying ahead of their aunt and uncle dying in a plane crash.. this insult doesn't resonate too much... its obvious where the sanity lies in this argument.

Like I said, absolute retards. Don't go, Melind-emo. At least not without making some knee-slapping attempt to refute the points I made with regard to your insulting remark.
I see you responded with a repeated but somehow even less-imaginitive insult. Care to try again, or is that ALL you've got?

Last time I checked, I was still pretty intelligent. Not sure how voting to stop the spread of globalization is fucking retarded. But I have noticed that there is a huge cadre of people from California who live in a totally different reality than the rest of us. Those people are completely flabbergasted that the rest of the country does not live in that same reality.
It also says a ton when all someone can do is call you names when you point out the tremendous flaws in their own position. That's the equivalent of tapping out in any legit debate.
"Well I've got nothing. But you're a retard!!!! HA HA!"

I'm still in a state of shock that she used that awful hate-speech word that begins with the letter "r".
Apparently, the crime of "insensitivity" is a one-way street.
Or else these liberal hypocrites are simply a bunch of self-satisfied nitwits.

Californian's are completely out of touch with the rest of the country. Most people here think the middle of the country is full of stupid hicks who's opinions don't matter. Everyone here calls Donald Trump and his supporters retards, because they are too uninformed to realize that we are in a bubble of prosperity here that most of the country is not able to enjoy.

Lol I was wondering why melinda and I were not friends on thee ol Facebook anymore...must have been the Trump thing. It's truly sad when someone judges others on whom they voted for. Sorry girlie, but Bernie was a bum, I couldn't vote for the kook. It is what it is. And yes, I did feel I needed to point this out on facebook, although I did feel I did it in a rather respective manner.
2016 rocked the fucking house. Not going to get into detail by detail about why...but in a nutshell...money is good, life is good, relationship is good, family is good. I'm 39 and I doubt I am still working full time unless I want to for another 5 or 6 years. My head is clear. I've been through the ringer in the past 10 years and while the outcomes still and always will sting, I'm stronger than ever before because of it.
I think the biggest thing I did this year wasn't a money maker. It was buying that place by the river. It was a head change for the whole family. They are actually still all out there, including my girl, I had to come home for responsibilities. Duty called. But the joy it's brought everyone, the togetherness. When I say I've been through the ringer, my sis and mom were right there in the trenches as well. We all needed this change of setting.
In 2017...my girl is quitting her job, literally next week. Giving her 2 weeks after being there for almost 20 years. She's going to finish school this semester. We are going to try and move out to the river full time, because some kids are in our future. We believe that the least stressful pregnancy will come from us being out there. So...fuck living amongst these kooks in LA, they can continue to pay me rent and I'll go live in my little version of paradise. We will likely come back when our kids need to start schooling. After thinking and discussing this for awhile, it's time.

I know quite a few of these people. I never saw a Bernie or Hillary supporter though that didn't have some kind of serious mental flaw though. While I wouldn't call them retarded, I'd call most of them excuse makers, but it's just a common trait I found most to have. Quick to blame other's for their own problems is the most common flaw I tend to see amongst them. The other is that you take away the next paycheck...it's pretty much game over. I am also a little surprised at how many do not have a healthy level of mistrust of the govt being involved more and more in their lives.

In my area there are many spoiled brats living off of trust funds who drive a Prius, wear Patagonia, shop at Whole Foods and never stop preaching about being ahead of the curve and saving the world. However they don't see that living in a 5,000 square foot house, flying all over the world and expect live lobster and Egyptian coffee might be hypocritical. My biggest problem with the liberal movement in my area is none of them put their money where their mouths are. They want social programs, free everything, take care of all people, spend tons of money on everything, and demand that everything is taken care of... however when it comes to tax time they never willingly pay extra taxes. The IRS will gladly accept donations and overpayments from anyone, so if you think free college, free healthcare, free food, free cars, free phones, and free retirement are all a right... you should be giving the government at least 75% of your gross income every year. And if you are just paying the minimum taxes that the government allows you to pay, you are a fucking hypocrite.

Only way I could pull that off is to move out of this area and cash out. You have to make $150k a year here just to be considered not poor. I am looking at 15 - 20 realistically before it's even a possibility.

Ah yes, the "I've never even stepped foot into a bad neighborhood but I want to help everyone that lives in one" naive ones.
I know a few. Some of them I genuinely feel sorry for, so much into being a unique snowflake that they truly believe their ideas will work. So out of touch it's scary to me. Good people and all, but if you need as much as a fire lit or a tire change...the sky is falling.

I'll work till I'm 70. I have 0 attention span and can't sit still.
Also, retirement is the number 1 killer of old people.

Something is wrong with the Insert Image function.
It's only allowing ONE meme per post. It appears that there is some kind of internal cyber-rebellion against HRC's image. I suppose we're ALL a bit sick of it...

And if you are just paying the minimum taxes that the government allows you to pay, you are a fucking hypocrite. Exactly. My sister would fit in perfectly with those folks out there. That is a perfect description of her. She lives in Boston, has a friend who's family owns a farm in Western Mass and are looking into growing marijuana. She has a brother who has set up a solid system that will generate a lot of cash. I offered to help her set herself up down in Mass, and she said no. Even after I reminded her that if she became independently wealthy, she'd have money to fund all of the causes that she "feels so strongly about". She didn't seem to care about that. Which put all of her moral superiority right into perspective. Being her brother, I felt it was my duty to remind her that she has the chance to actually do something about it instead of just bitching about it. I reminded her that the only way problems get solved is by throwing money at them, and I have never heard of a yoga instructor who makes a million dollars a year. But I know a bunch of weed farmers who do. She still said she didn't want to do it. So I told her that the next time she's in my house she needs to keep her politics to herself because she's not willing to actually put effort into solving the problems she wants to complain about. Very hypocritical. "These are the problems. And I will bitch about them to anyone who will listen until I'm blue in the face. But you want me to work at something I might not totally enjoy doing, so I can make more money than anyone I know, so I could spend that money on these things I seem to care so much about? Oh Fuck You. I won't do that. Because bitching is easier than working."

After thinking and discussing this for awhile, it's time. I'll be your Facebook friend. Promise not to defriend you over politics. A lot of people in this country could do with some mental health check ups. Because I got defriended by a bunch of women in the same fashion you were by Melinda, for the exact same reason. What I don't get, is why they do it. Doing that is basically admitting, straight up, you WANT your newsfeed to be a fuckin echo chamber. You can't deal with perspectives that differ from your own and want to convince yourself that EVERYONE agrees with you. This is foolish, and leads to the kind of panic that is being seen among so many on the left. It lets them convince themselves that the world is the way they want it to be, not the way it actually is. I saw this really interesting graphic a month or so ago. I can't find it now, but will keep looking. It was basically a graph that showed the social media "views" among those who were supporting Trump vs. those who were supporting Hillary. What they found was that a really, really big % of Trump supporters were also following Hillary on FB and Twitter. However, Hillary and Bernie supporters had a tremendously low % of people who were also following Trump. They didn't even have the fortitude to listen to the other side. That tells you so much about why they were so shocked at the outcome. They don't want reality. They want their own version of it, and anyone who threatens that version of it is the enemy and deserves nothing but contempt. It's fucking stupid, divisive, and reality that I see is that the only people who fall for it? Well. They're mother fucking retards. Oh, and I won't clog your feed with pictures of cats and liberal cry ass bullshit. Mostly just dumb shit I think about over the course of a day, and things that strike me as funny. Like this:

I am looking at 15 - 20 realistically before it's even a possibility. Full time. I'll always have my hand into something or another. I will also never sell and walk so I will be slave to my rentals for life, which is fine by me. I'm with Chopper, I can't sit still and I also believe that when you sit, you go stale. I would just like to sell real estate when my clients want something, pick up new clients as I go along and keep on going on. It's pretty much what I do now, but with a shit ton of property management for other peoples properties thrown on top. The managing for others is what I'd like to move on from. Hell, I'm working on getting my license in AZ as well so when I'm out at the river I can work on both sides of it. I guess retire is a bad word to use because I don't ever see myself not doing something to make money in some way or another. I have to say I feel that I am addicted to it, perhaps one of my only real addictions. Not to mention, I like my toys, I like my traveling and I like to enjoy myself. The first 2 don't generally come cheap. EDIT: And all of that being said, I don't mind the hours. I don't mind the long days. I love finding the deals, I love doing the remodels. However, I do mind having to deal with other peoples bullshit, which does grow on me after time. I pick and choose my own tenants very carefully and the ones that bug me don't last long. I don't feel it's fair to be working for someone else with that same mindset and dealing with shady people just jades the dogshit out of me. Section 8...I'm glad I dealt with it as long as I have, but I truly never want to deal with it again after I decide to walk.

I don't understand and perhaps never well the bubble life. I feel pretty confident in where my beliefs lie and I love them to be tested. I want to be proven wrong. I want to have to defend them, I feel it only strengthens them OR makes me rethink my stance all together. I'm perfectly fine with others having their own opinions that differ from mine, especially when they are coming from good people. I think a good portion of people are prone to meltdowns and this is why you see this kind of behavior. I get if someone just isn't your cup of tea, I'm not everyones and not everyone is mine...and that's fine. I grew up amongst so many different styles of people I've never really cared what someones political orientation was. However, I would like to backhand every dummy that voted in the silly new sales tax in my city. My fb goes from travel pics to pics of chickens to some political shit now and then...lots of inside jokes between a lot of life long friends on there. A little shit talk now and then. Some threads will really give a good insight of the mix that is my circle of friends. 99% of the people on there are people from my life and not from the forum.

That or is sick of the vitriol spewed at her. My vote is that she's going on a Bennigan's World Tour. Or that this place isn't echo-chambery enough. Or maybe needs to spend some time in a wi-fi free safe space, or some other bullshit. I've always wondered about that "safe space" bullshit. Is there some larger penalty for being offensive in a "safe space"? I doubt it. Sounds just like more stupid crap designed to weaken the resolve of the generation coming up.
