nunes is a really tough fight for her, she has controlled aggression, not just wild like many of the other girls she had faced and is probably the hardest hitter of any of the girls. she also has solid BJJ skills and could be tough to sub, especially early. i agree with sporty that ronda would be much better off at a real gym with a real trainer who will give her strategies beyond just box and try for an arm bar- you look beautiful. edmund is probably the single worst big time trainer, the only reason why anyone knows who he is is because he got really lucky that a ridiculously talented ronda came to train with him. nunes can break though, so this is going to come down to can ronda survive early, get a hold of her without gassing and then beat her up to get the sub or even an GNP stoppage. she just hasn't shown any gameplans beyond her simple one which will put her in a lot of danger. i also wonder how her confidence will be
I don't think Ronda will ever fight Cyborg.

I believe a fit and well trained Ronda, with a good game plan, can beat Nunes.

LOL at people questioning Rhonda making weight. Has she ever had issues doing it before? Extra fluff athletes gain in offseason is extremely easy to shed. She's an athlete not a brawler, she will be fine in that department. As extremely thrilled as I was to see her lose I still won't write her off against anyone. Her game plan against holly was embarrassing and Holly had the performance of a lifetime. I think her confidence certainly may be shot but if not I could see her coming back and becoming champ again. Definitely a more beatable champ now that the blueprint has been laid but better hope she doesn't get her hands on you.

Agreed ^^^^^ She's never had a problem making weight, even doing it pretty much on the spot during her season of TUF to show the athletes it can be done. Anyone who thinks she'd have an issue on that front is just a blind hater. The questions surrounding her confidence and overall mental state going into a fight are legit, but I think she'll be fine.

The latest pictures of her would seem to prove otherwise. I don't think she's anywhere NEAR as heavy as you think, Jonas. Good on ya, Ronda. You hang out by the salads like a good girl....
