I "think" Johnson's speed will be the difference here.
Khabib didn't look great in his last outing.

If he's willing to fight 4x a year to keep the divisions going. Does he not fight enough for you? He has a normal output of an average fighter's schedule. If he would sign a paper that he would defend each belts 2x a year, and would get stripped of the belts if he gets injured/or any reason for cancellation. Respect. He has to pay and be responsible for that much glory.

I'm so fucking stoked that Jim Miller managed to beat Alves, and even more so that he now has the record for most wins at LW in history.
I didn't even think he was CLOSE to making that record.
I also can't believe Alves missed weight by SEVEN AND A HALF POUNDS.
That's the biggest weight-miss I can actually remember.
Has anyone ever missed weight by more than that and still had the fight happen, and if so, who was it???
I have to be honest, even being SO biased towards Jim, I thought he was going to lose this fight, and not just lose but get finished.
I predicted he'd get TKO'd (not knocked out COLD) somewhere in the 2nd round.
I thought Alves' stand up would just be so much better than Jim's and that coupled with his size and thinking he had better Takedown defense than he had would be too much.
But it turned out that not only was his TDD NOT anywhere NEAR as good as Jim's takedown offense, but that Jim was able to hang well with him on the feet also.
I thought that the only chance Jim had was if Alves was too drained from the cut (he did look somewhat drained, but I think he'd have lost anyway, plus he had a 5lbs advantage.)
So props to Jim.
And of course, my boy McLaughlin was in the corner helping him out as usual, and it must feel great that he coached him to the point of breaking that record at LW.
Also showed integrity on Jim's part to GAIN weight to make sure the fight could happen.
Cowboy seems to be the poster boy of fighting anyone and doing anything to make a fight happen, but Jim should now be included alongside him with that move.

Honestly, as a Conor fan, I don't want to see him hold onto both belts, Just want to see him win them.
He can drop one after.

Khabib's got a beard on him. And MJ slows down as the fight progress. There's a reason Khabib is a heavy favorite. I aint touching this fight. But if it aint my money, i'd throw a little at MJ, just so.

Jim is a true fighter. He's just getting older. It was a very good win for him.

You guys think Karolina has a chance tonight? No. She is to slow, doesn't seem to hit hard enough.
I watched a couple fights. I don't give her much of a chance.
