Thiago Alvez 6lbs over Kelvin is 8lbs over
The commission will not let the fights happen if fighters are more than 5lbs different.

Either way, Uncle Dana aint happy.

The official weigh in is going on right now. The only way the fights can happen is if the opponents also miss weight and gain a few pounds to be within 5lbs.

So they gave Jim Miller some extra time and he came in at 157, so the fight will go on.

Looks like the Kelvin/Cowboy fight is definitely off.

I thought this was just the early weigh in? Theres no afternoon session? I thought you could choose which one you wanted to attend.

The afternoon weigh ins are fake and only a media/fan event. They dont even weigh them in the afternoon - it's all for show.

How many times does this make it that Kelvin has missed weight?

I believe this is the 3rd or 4th time. They should send him packing to Bellator. Fuck that guy.

The fact that he cant do it correctly now, tells me something.

Jacare is a middleweight and Cowboy already weighed in at 170?? The commission won't let him fight Gastelum at 8lbs over, but they are going to let him fight a middleweight?

I wonder if they were also attempting to get Jacare/Kennedy on the card.

It's time to up the punishment for these dickheads missing weight. It's happening way too much now. I'd said something about 3 strikes after last week's card, but fuck that. You miss weight even once, you can't fight at that weight again for a year. You miss weight twice and you can pack your fucking bags. We already have to deal with fighters getting hurt, which is somewhat unavoidable.

Gastelum has to be fired, Dana made him move up to 185, he begged to come back to 170 and now can't even weigh in for his biggest fight and the biggest card ever. I would cut him immediately and not even give him another shot at 185.
Also, if he knew he wasn't going to come close to making weight he could have told the UFC and cowboy so they could have tried to make a catch weight fight. So unprofessional on so many levels

That's hardly a 'punking'. Looked to me that Woodley wasn't the least bit concerned or interested in McGregor.... they both said 'what's up' and looked at each other.... big deal.
