No team throws in the towel quicker than the Steelers. Softest team in football that has zero chance if everything is not going their way and we saw it vs Eagles, saw it vs the Dolphins and are seeing it today vs the Ravens. They quit and you can see it on their sideline and on their faces. They have some offensive talent but this team needs some changes and probably the head coach first. Why are the Cowboys getting 2.5 points to the Steelers this sunday?
I just don't see how the Steelers can beat them. I feel very confident in a Cowboys win in this game. But whenever I'm really confident, I lose the bet. LOL
I wondered the same thing, especially with Big Ben probably playing too soon after injury.
So I made two bets on the Cowboys: a moneyline bet (pays more) and the standard point-spread wager. I'll either win one bet or both, I figure....

I also took moneyline.
This is one of those games that if the Cowboys lose, I say its all rigged. Vegas told the teams what to do. LOL
I also like the Patriots to cover against the Seahawks.
Green bay gets a win today.

The Lions continue to win with smoke and mirrors, this time against the Jagoffs after mustering 3 whole yards of rushing offense in the first half. I won my bet on 'em and STILL have absolutely no faith in them. They only exist to frustrate me; I am convinced of that.
On Thanksgiving, they'll face a real defense by the Vikings. Time for that bubble to burst....I'm betting the Vikes and taking the points.

Lions always play way better on Thanksgiving than any other day of the season though. And the Vikes can't move the ball. I'd stay away from that one.

The Lions are the first team to EVER have their first ten games decided by a touchdown or less. Every single week has been like cardiac-arrest time for their fans, including skeptical ones like myself. Matthew Stafford's heroics are the ONLY reason they aren't 3-7 or 2-8.
I'm looking at this as a Lions fan, which is sorta like being a Cubs fan prior to this year. The Lions' history of failure is similar.

Not the most impressive showing overall and only 7 points going into the 4th, but this Tolzien kid can play. He's poised, accurate, has been playing from behind the entire game and hasnt had a lot of help from his run game. Lot of drops from his WRs too, especially that sure fire TD from Hilton. They also left at least 3 points on the field. Not a great defensive game as per usual, but this thing isn't out of hand yet.
At the very least, Tolkien probably lands a decent contact Next year and starts for a team. I like what I've seen from him.

Aaaand another goaline set of downs results in no points. So hard to overcome that but one good drive really changes things.
Big 3rd down here.

Watching the 49rs. Colin looks like shit.
He is of mixed race. I think he lost his QB skills when he embraced his blackness. Grew that afro and shit. Obviously his QB genes came from his white mom. But he turned his back to that side of him.

I'd have given you worse odds that Tampa would beat the Chiefs and Seahawks in consecutive weeks and be 6-5, contending for their division and a playoff spot

Oh damn - Gronk having back surgery. That's a brutal blow and I'll be very surprised if the Patriots can get to the Super Bowl without him. That sucks. I also don't know how effective Bennett will be as the lone tight end and seems better working out of two TE sets.
Tough blow, patsox.

The guy never gets through a season If they can make it to the AFC title game he could be back for that, or at least the Superbowl. As long as they keep pace and get a first round bye, they'll need one second round win against someone like Baltimore or Kansas City or Houston to get to a point where they could see him again Bill usually finds a way. I have faith
