The irrational buffoon is ALWAYS irrational. Remember, Brees SUCKS.
Rivers is 13-13 against the Chiefs Mahomes is 1-1 against the Chargers
Rivers OWNED the Chiefs last night playing without Keenan Allen. Great victory but other than making it obvious they can beat the Chiefs (whooped their ass last night and could have been by a LOT more if the refs were neutral, gained 500 on them week 1), the Chiefs own the tie-breaker. Would need them to lose to Seattle and for the Chargers to beat Ravens and @ Broncos. Definitely possible and then Chargers would have the 1 seed. But 5 seed is going to happen to one of these two teams, unfortunately. Chiefs are the absolute worst home playoff team in the history of professional sports so maybe they want to go on the road? The seeding issue is supposedly going to be a topic in 2020 during the next CBA. There are arguments in favor of going a NBA route where best record determines home field.
Same shit we knew preseason: Chiefs have an amazing offense, great special teams and a very deficient defense. Solid pass rush AT HOME, with the refs behind them, but a glaring weakness on the road and against legit offenses. I mean, the Raiders moved up and down the field on them with EASE. Arguably one of the worst defenses in NFL history.
MVP race is now a lot closer. I'll say this, there is ZERO chance Mahomes would win more than 7 games if you take away Kelce, Hill and Ware. Yet the Chargers CAN win without Henry, Allen and Gordon IN KANSAS CITY. Mahomes, Rivers and Brees are all playing great so we will see. What a fat fuck, low IQ migrant worker in Missouri thinks is irrelevant.

MVP! MVP! Go into Steelers territory and whoop them, then into Arrowhead and beat the Chefs! Is there any doubt? Well maybe Brees.. 😂 MVP is not going to be the guy who needed a minor miracle or two to not go 0-10 against the Chiefs the last 5 years. MVP was wearing red last night and it's a joke to hear Brees or anyone else even talked about at this point. Since when does the MVP race take into consideration what happened years ago? Seems like Mahomes is the one that needed the miracle last week to beat the Ravens! No? Of course I'm just taking a jab at you and the Chefs. In reality Mahomes probably wns it because of his style of play, which I wouldn't disagree with, the guy is awesome. MVP is not who is the most valuable player in the team. You take out Mahomes and put Alex Smith in, like last year they have a very similar record. You take our Rivers or Brees and those teams do not make the playoffs. How much is not having Hunt really going to hurt them in the long run? If they lose Kelce or Hill can they still perform the same? Very was back, will the defense start to get a bit better after he plays a few games? Seems like the Chargers are proving people wrong, it's not the same old Chargers. To go in and beat the Steelers and Chiefs at home while losing at halftime is pretty impressive. It's a good time to be a fan. I love this game. Can't wait for the playoffs!

Most wide open year I can remember. Lot's of teams could make the Super Bowl and not even sure who I would take. NFC: Saints Rams Bears below those two and especially playing on the road Cowboys below these 3 because they have Jason Garrett Seattle? Who knows. I wouldn't want to play Seattle and they are dangerous even on the road. No one else can win a game UNLESS the Panthers get in. They could potentially shock someone. AFC Chiefs Patriots Chargers Texans Steelers Ravens? Colts? Texans seems like the patsies but have won 9/10. Patriots have the great Home Field Advantage so are probably the favorites. Chiefs and Chargers are going to score on ANYONE in any stadium. Gonna be awesome.

Awfully sweet of you to do that for Mahomes, being a Brees lover and all. I made a small error in Brees' total yards... It should be 22,833 since you went back 5 years on Rivers career vs the Chiefs! If all you're looking at is total yards. Lol He is impressive, mighty impressive. I do not dislike Mahomes at all but Drew's % is as well and his very few INT. If he had a better receiving squad his numbers would eclipse his previous years yards. I'm sure them having a better defense is a good trade off for Brees. I hope the Chiefs can do well in the playoffs. I'd hate to see the Patriots or Steelers back in the big game. I'd live to see the Chiefs play the Saints, the Bears, the Cowboy. So I hope they do represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. I'm not hating, I just really like Brees, no homo... OK maybe just a little bit...

Completion % and int just shows he doesn't take chances at all. Alex Smith's completion % was always through the roof combined with minuscule int #s. Take Kamara off the Saints and see what Brees' numbers look like in the next few games.
Phyllis Rivers is still a bum. The Chiefs D is just a liability.

Chiefs defense the worst we have ever seen in modern times. It really is. I barely follow the NFL, but I’m just north of KCMO. I’d like to be a fan, but when you solely rely on your offense to score 40+ points to win a game, I can’t get on board with that. All my friends are die hards. I love to fuck with them about how their team will never make it past the playoffs.

Best offense in football, QB playing arguably best in football but a defense that is terrible and a coach known for choking. Not a lot of room for error but they might score 40+ in 3 straight and win it all.

Saints vs Chiefs would be the highest scoring Super Bowl. The NFL would love that match up.

It's tough to maintain the perspective, but the Chiefs are the best team going forward in the NFL. Their defense is a liability, and will probably end up costing them this year. But with hands down the best QB in football, their future is so bright that people like Loco there are idiots for that view.
I think they're going to end up blowing up their defensive staff this year and hiring a coach that runs a 4-3 with more zone blitz schemes like Pittsburgh. They have the complete wrong personnel to be running cover zero man schemes that Bob Sutton insists on running, no matter how much they get torched.

You’re as dumb as all the hardcore fans that say this stupid shit year after year. You better start doing some research and look at the last time the Chiefs made an impact was. Here’s a clue, the answer is never. You’re talking strategy and these guys can’t even tackle a guy. Fuck out of here with your attempt to look educated about KC football.

Yeah and the Boston Red Sox hadn't won a world series in 86 years prior to a dominating run over the last decade and a half.
It takes a real gamblers fallacy mentality to think that what happened last year, let alone 20, 30, 40 years ago has anything to do with what will happen.
You're clearly not who the X's and O's conversation was geared toward there guy.

Seattle is a very dangerous team for most of the contenders not named Da Bears. A little dangerous for the Bears but the Bears woukd get them in Chicago.
Rams, not enough run D at all.
Smashmouth run game + Russ Wilson is a problem for flawed defenses in NO, LA, KC.
Bears likely to go to LAR in rd 2. I think Sea/Dal is a tough matchup, and either pose a treat to NO bc of solid D and run game. Weird to say but I think LAR (and the 6 seed) are the least likely to make the SB.
AFC is even more messed up. KC, LAC, NE all beatable. Whomever gets in between Pit/Bal and Ind/Ten can make a game awkward enough against the top 3 to beat them.
Official predictions next week. 6 weeks ago it seemed like NO v LAR and KC vs somebody were locks.

www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/25634618/2018-nfl-playoffs-preview-schedule-bracket-team-strengths-weaknesses-matchup-possibilitiesDid not read through this yet but I’m excited for the playoffs this year. Seems like the too seeds have some vulnerabilities. Winners for Wildcard week: Colts over Texans Basically a Luck pick. A fully powered Texans D could change the tide but I think the Colts have quietly put a lot together. I don’t trust Texans run game. Bears over Eagles Honest question, has the Eagles D shaped up the last couple of weeks. I could see Trubisky wilting under pressure in the playoffs bit I don’t think it will be this week. Bears D at home carries the day. Seahawks over Cowpokes Russ Wilson. I hate saying that but its true. Chargers v Ravens No idea. I lean a tiny bit to Chargers. I think they’ve faltered a little but that was in part to injury and playing it safe with injuries. I think their O can do enough. This is my least confident pick. Assuming Colts get a couple pts. I’ll obviously take the pts right now with Colts, Chargers, Seahawks and give 6 with the Bears. Now I’ll read the primer and probably change all my picks.

My prediction:
Colts win against Texans, and the Chiefs blow them out at Arrowhead in an exorcism ceremony and Loco comes in here saying he knew it all along. Tom Brady and the Pats pass the torch to Mahomes and the Chiefs in a classic game. Chiefs beat the Saints 63-54 where Mahomes goes 32-47 for 6 TDs and 625 yards and TOIAP claims Brees should still get the MVP of the game because he goes 27-32 for 288 yards and his completion % is just so remarkable that it doesn't make sense not to give it to him.
