If Henderson wins, what's the next fight for the belt? Do they give Bisping and immediate shot to get the title back against some other challenger? If that's the case, it will almost be like the loss didn't happen. a 4 or 8 man tourney would be killer but the ufc doesnt like tourneys

I fucking hate that about the UFC right now. I know tournaments are totally legal with some athletic commissions. There is no reason they shouldn't do a one night tournament. A throwback for us old school UFC fans. Let's see a card that's an 8 man tournament. That's my dream right there. Any division, a modern UFC tournament is something I'd want more than anything in MMA. Pride rules and one night tournaments are the relics of NHB I miss the most.

Yes it's me. If you want proof say something sarcastic that's a joke and I'll get super pissed off and apologize later for not realizing it was a joke lol. Brand new forum, brand new toehold? The first step to getting help is admitting you have a problem. Lol. Glad you made it across mate. As for the fight, these days Belfort literally has 1 blitz combo in him and if it doesn't put you away he gives up. The "old" Vitor is gone, so is the "new old" Vitor, as is "TRTitor". The main event is genuinely interesting though. It's a 25 min tightrope walk for Bisping IMO. Hendo is still super dangerous and a real bad style match up for Mike. Excited for the fight and not sure who I'd like to see win. These two have kinda switched places for me over the years. I've cooled on Hendo whilst Mike has grown on me.

It would go WAY beyond awesome if Hendo dropped another highlight reel KO on Bisping and then retired.

Welcome Toehold! It wouldn't be MMAWeekly (I guess it isn't, lol) without you. I really, really wouldn't. Me and you go back extremely far. We've shared training tips back in the day when I was active. I was really young and you knew your shit so I'd always ask you about BJJ stuff. That's what made me so sad about the board shutting down. I don't care if it makes me sound like some loser nerd (I kind of am though) but I grew up around some of you. I consider you friends. If I saw you in real life, I'd buy you a drink. Well, I don't drink but I'd cut you out a fat fucking line. Things just wouldn't be quite right without this place. I've just been on this fucker for so long. Who is The Storm? Thanks man. Yeah, all you guys are people I've been messaging with forever. Another forum with people I don't know wouldn't be the same.

Romero-Weidman and Rockhold-Jacare is happening over these next few months, so if Hendo wins, they're just setup a title fight between the winners of those bouts. I don't see that happening though. I think Bisping gets the TKO this time around.
As for Mousasi-Vitor, I got Gegard by DEC. He should be able to grind out Vitor pretty easily.

Gegard never steps it up and I have little faith in him. Vitor all day.
I really think Bisping is going to take it to Hendo, with this being Dans last fight he will probably be even more uninspired than usual. Bisping is on his redemption tour as of late and I think I like it.

A sure mma HoF'er, who has won everything available bar the UFC title, will get the chance to win the UFC title in his last ever fight against a guy who he matches up well with and who will no doubt talk mad shit to him in the build up and you think he'll be "even more uninspired than usual"?!? Seriously? Like, seriously.....seriously?!!! Dan has literally nothing to lose, I expect him to come out guns blazing and make it a gun fight from the bell. In fact I'm still staggered that you genuinely believe that he'll be uninspired at all, let alone because it's his last fight he'll be extra uninspired.

I wouldn't say Dan has nothing to lose. I'd say adding a UFC title to his resume is extremely important to him. In my opinion it would be his crowning achievement. 20 years from now 99% of the people who read his Wikipedia page will also see that as his biggest accomplishment in his illustrious career.
