I think alot of people underestimate the power of walking. When I first got back to running it felt like I was just grinding my knee back to nothing again, the only exercise I wad doing was my lifting and running and I was like " I'm going to end up with the same fucking knee injury as before" I started walking alot again and that's when my knee pain started going away and my pace started improving drastically. Im still not 100% in my knees but i have no doubt that I'm only as far as I am due to the walking. Good for you Jim keep at it, I recently added Lap swimming back in too and it feels great. Right now I'm only swimming once a week for an hour, I rotate, freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, 5 minute

What the fuck? It wouldn't let me type anymore in that last post. 5 minute rotations. Going to try to work in one more day a week of swimming.
Not sure what your swimming ability is but even if you cant swim jogging in a pool can be fantastic andis much easier in the joints. Keep at bear.

Literally all of my cardio is walking, I walk anywhere from 11km to 13km a day 7 days a week and just 20 mins post weights on an exercise bike and itβs makes a hell of a difference to overall energy in vs out which is the key for weight loss etc. I literally walk 4km to a local coffee shop, have a herbal tea and walk back after just sitting and chilling for 30mins reading some crap and people and then just walk the 4km back and then just a make sure rest of the day Iβm up and walking around more, steps over lifts, dont lark right next to shop if I do drive etc, just little things and they all add up! Kick ass itβs making you feel better as thatβs the whole thing man! Positive mental attitude and outlook!
