Can barely watch with the Santos knee situation. I’ve blown an ACL, it is necessarily always painful after it is torn but it is extremely uncomfortable when the joint slides around like that.

Haven’t seen decision yet. Awkward to watch. Honestly have to believe that Jones purposely did not attack the left knee. Not sure if that was classy or stupid. Both I suppose.

Jones lost that fight IMO Yeah I kinda am conflicted on the decision TBH. Not surprised it was a split but honestly some of those rounds were super close that I might have to agree with you. What kind of result would have occurred had Santos not hurt his knee however...

Hey guys, long time no talk. Hope is all going great with everyone. On to this card. WTF, I was going to order this card on PPV. Just to find out I can't. I have to have ESPN + just to order a PPV. Screw that, why would I want to order a event and watch it on a small laptop screen instead of a 70 inch TV ? Yes I know I can hook up the laptop to the TV. but no, I just won't do that. LOL Oh well, I was going to give the UFC my money. But not now, I'll just stream it. I just realized the same thing. Only available via ESPN+ I flipped through my guide about 3 times looking for it, then I googled it and realized its not being broadcast on television. Wow that is so lame. Is this how all the PPV's are now? From what I read, Yeah thats the only way to get the PPV's. You need to have ESPN plus. Its that way until 2025. I think its dumb, why make it harder to buy a PPV.

Who was that Jon Jones in there? He didn't seem right, Like he didn't want to fight. I thought he lost the dec.
Amanda is a badass.
Masvidal... I'm a fan just because of that fight. So happy he won.
Rockhold vs the other dude. Didn't really pay that much attention.
Diego, Damn he was never in that fight.
Gil. Time to retire? Kind of sad to see the old guys not being able to do anything anymore.
Had to watch on a shitty stream. But I refuse to get ESPN plus. If I have to watch on a computer, I'm streaming it LOL

The ESPN app has ESPN+ with it and you can watch through that. The first event that was this way you had to use your computer to log in and purchase, but you could then watch on any device. My understanding is now that's no longer necessary, you can purchase the event right through the app. But I haven't tried. In short, yeah, it's a bit annoying. But not worth missing good PPVs over. And this was a good PPV. Until the main event, which wasn't terrible but Jones certainly didn't look like the GOAT last night.

The only bet I am making is that daywork cracks and throws some money on Santos. Tempted to throw money on Ben as I think he beats Jorge easily. LOL Santos is the 2nd biggest dog on the card. I would put money on Masvidal, I think he could beat Ben. Could. I've been betting on womens world cup. I didn't do very good. Go back to MMA betting. I bet 34.50 on Nunes to win $10. Wasn't feeling super great about that for the first minute or two of that fight. Holly looked big compared to Nunes and seemed to be controlling range well at first. Other than that, no bets for me last night. Had been busy and hadn't really looked at the card ahead of time. Wish I had, I'm sure I'd have put some money on Masvidal. I've been a fan of that guy for ages and I hate Askren.

If I order a monthly subscription to Espn+, then the ppv price should be reduced. I guess I'll have to rely on Fasthands' play by plays until 2025. Hopefully his next PbP performance will be better than last nite's...

He supposedly bet on himself to win by decision in his last fight. So there's evidence that he's pulling punches. Literally. Part of his heel persona, I suppose.

That was the most brutal knee I have ever seen Somewhere out there, Terry Martin is having flying knee flashbacks while he pounds a bottle of advil.

And this was a good PPV. Until the main event, which wasn't terrible but Jones certainly didn't look like the GOAT last night. Good card. Worth the money, IMO. Santos with healthy legs wins that fight. Pretty amazing. He's looked good at 205 and I think Jones got real worried about those kicks and his power. Holly does look BIG, but she's not willing to use her size/power. Can't stand her as a fighter but like her conservative, respectful manner outside the ring. I really don't want to see her on any cards. Masvidal? That was awesome. I actually like Funky Ben as he can promote fights, but Masvidal is great. I don't think he has the style to beat Usman and its a fight he WILL get taken down and controlled, but happy to watch and get proven wrong (or let him wait and fight winner of Colby/Lawler/Usman). Used to like Rockhold but between Romero and Bisping, his chin got cracked and he's done. He should get out while he still has his faculties. and any smartTV or stick is easy to get the ESPN app which has ESPN+. Yes, pain in the ass for the one time 5 minutes but then easy.

I think mmaJim is onto something here with Jones.
Jones is known for the oblique kicks yet when Santos' knee was visibly injured, Jones inexplicably stops attacking the injured leg.
I really feel like Jones bet on himself to win by decision. That's why he didnt attack Santos' injured leg.
I'm pretty sure Rogan even mentioned how Jones bet on himself to win by decision in his previous fight.

Isn’t that illegal in some way? I have no clue. But you'd think Dana would be pissed af. Rogan mentioned it on the undercard show. He was saying how Jones didn't go for any takedowns in his last fight and Joe said it was probably because Jones placed a bet on himself to win by decision. Pete Rose is banned from baseball for betting on his own team. I mean it makes sense, Jones is so dang good he could've finished that guy pretty easily last nite. Especially when everyone watching could see the guy limping around with a bad knee.

For those of you who watched the ppv, how long did it take Askren to wake up?

For those of you who watched the ppv, how long did it take Askren to wake up? I was at the fight, and it felt like a VERY along time, he was probably unconscious and limp for maybe 5 minutes, and I’d say after he awoke, it took another 3-4 minutes before he was up on his feet. Even then, he had an insanely hard time walking out of the cage.
