This app is bullshit. Pay $4.99 a month for a UFC stream that buffers and crashes during events? Oh and we still get to watch commercials too!? I thought point of paying for a streaming service is they remove ads - Not the UFC - you pay extra for commercials!!!
And did you guys know there is a good 1 minute delay on ESPN+ from the rest of the world? That's right, everyone still watching from a provider in other countries, or in the US on a commercial account at at bar, is watching in real time for free while we're paying a monthly subscription to get a delayed version.
Imagine how awesome this will all be when they start streaming PPVs on ESPN+ next month. $74.99 per event to watch a delayed PPV that buffers and crashes! WHAT A DEAL!

Call me crazy, but I miss the days where I could turn on SpikeTV and watch the whole event.

What a POS app. No one should use this garbage platform.

What a POS app. No one should use this garbage platform. The concept of streaming a major league sporting event is pretty damn Bush-league to begin with. UFC signs with the biggest sports network in the world and they take a step backwards in their broadcasting by airing their product via stream. ESPN has like 50 million channels where you can watch asinine shit like poker, and women's volleyball yet they can't find a station to broadcast the whole motherfucking fight card on in its entirety. Fucking Bush league garbage. put the got dang thing on TV, for fucks sake.

Phone, computer etc.. that way people who aren’t st a TV can watch. Only sensible reasoning I can see..

But its cool that the option for that is available. But it should be just that, an option. However, it becomes Bush league when the event is exclusively available via stream. Imagine the NCAA basketball tournament being exclusively broadcast via stream instead of on TV. Or the World Series, the Superbowl, the Stanley Cup etc..

I know many of you aren’t interested, but Champions League football (soccer) is only available on the DAZN app in Canada (I believe the USA too but could be wrong). Basically, Barcelona vs. Manchester United wasn’t on TV and only available via stream.

And how nice is it to order a PPV from your provider and have it billed to your account and pay later? The amount of convenience that comes with a provider with features and payments makes it so much nicer. Fuck ESPN+

DAZN and ESPN+ are annoying as fuck and both full of technical problems right now, but the wave of the future. Both are probably going to burn through cash for years until they succeed.

I'll never be on board with paying a cable bill and then purchasing a la carte streams to watch events on channels that I already pay for. Basically I feel it's just a tactic to charge people twice for something they've already paid for. So essentially, with the a la carte streams, what WAS a free TV event now becomes a pay per view, instead of being a free TV event... So now every event is a paid event in some from or fashion. No more free events... Free is a misnomer though because I already pay a cable bill which includes access to espn.

Fucking CBS has it's own paid streaming app now! I heard about a new Twilight Zone show and you can only watch it IF you pay an additional $5 per month fee to stream their BS. Ultimately, if everything becomes stream-able on a cafeteria type plan, it should mean we can get rid of cable and choose what we all want. Better for the consumer but expect we will get fucked by the cable and satellite giants in the meantime.

No sense for you to be a cable customer then pay more for it. The CBS one tripped me out. I was like, CBS, really? But they fucked me with football and the superbowl. I got the 1 month trial just so i could watch the superbowl (i dont have cable). Then i noted survivor, 60 minutes and other shows. Never noticed how much shit i watched on cbs. Still didn't go for it though. Didn't renew the trial.

I just wanna turn on my TV and watch the damn thing. I don't wanna watch things via internet because you have to deal with buffering and glitchy internet service. Today's ultra consumerist-nature of TV has really turned me into a casual mma fan, when I would actually watch every single event if they would just put them on TV. The old format the UFC used was perfect. 1 ppv a month and then all the other events were televised. Who would've thought that putting the UFC on ESPN, the largest sports network in the world would actually make it harder to watch. Wtf, Dana.
