Oct 6th? That's surprisingly short notice. Maybe there's not enough time for one of them to get hurt.

Nate Diaz is still an idiot.
Doesn't want to fight on this card.
Someone needs to sit this moron down and remind him how ppv's work. Everyone else clamors to be on a Conor card for a rea$on.

I don't think it's as simple as he wanted to be on that card. I think he was expected to be promoted more and they released they are didn't. Maybe he didn't think it was happening so soon. And he's like, I'll just wait and fight the winner if that fight. He's a strange cookie that's for sure. You know he pushed for the Conor trilogy. I'm not defending his actions. These guys never seem to be happy. I love watching them fight though. The light weight division is exciting right now.
Khabib Conor Diaz Dustin Tony All would make great fights matching them up against each other.

155 has been the best division forever. I'll be surprised if Conor and Khabib actually get in the ring this soon but stoked it's signed. We have a lot of great fights on the horizon.

Khabib Conor Diaz Dustin Tony All would make great fights matching them up against each other. According to him he is a superstar, What more promotion does he need? LOL He is pissed because he will be getting a PPV percentage, he knows his card won't sell that good. He's also probably mad because he's not even the main event. I would love for the UFC to put him as the main event fighting someone not named Conor and see how that sells. To much going on in that division for him to sit around and hope he gets a title fight. I get it, he knows he has to be given a title shot because there is no way he can win his way to the title. I like watching him fight but he'll never wear the belt.

"IT'OL BE DOON..... IN ONE!
I SEE DEES TINGS DAYNA!
KHABIB GLUES PUBIC HAIR TO HIS FOOKIN BEARD TO FILL IT OUT!
DA KING IS BACK!"
I like both guys, should be a good fight.

Talk about a turn around. The UFC hasn't been exciting as of late. Then you had Comier which was semi shocking for a lot of people, the announcement of the Diaz fight created some buzz and the Conor announcement blew the top off. And now this Diaz drama is just adding fuel to the fire.
People are talking about the UFC again. Here in this dead forum, on Facebook and even several casual fans that have texted me out of the blue and made some comments at work yesterday.

I haven't watched an UFC PPV in years now. I've caught some fights or highlights the next day on some fights I couldn't miss like GSP vs Bisping but otherwise nothing. I will probably buy the Khabib PPV if it has a decent undercard because I want to see Conor's image be tarnished when Khabib clowns him. I don't dislike Conor but hate his nut huggers.

I hope Khabib takes him down a peg, but I got a baaaaad feeling the exact opposite is about to happen.

If khabib can pressure Conor and not get slept, he will eventually break him once Conor tires out. However, Conor hits hard(ish) but is extremely accurate while Khabib does get hit when trying to pressure people. Can he eat a couple of Conor's straight lefts?

Michael Johnson is a southpaw and did get shots off on Khabib. Conor is a much better counter striker than anyone Khabib has ever fought, he's a southpaw and he's got fight ending power + incredible accuracy. It's the great style match-up and easy to doubt Conor because it's the toughest match-up for him, but his willingness to fight Khabib is what makes him great. The unknown is really just how good is Khabib's chin? We have seen him get hit but never really rocked, and the only way to keep that tank from grabbing you and dragging you down is to hurt him.
I don't give much credence to the Al Iaquninta fight. Khabib had no lead time to train for him and dominated him, plus Iaquinta's ground is solid (much better than Barboza, Johnson or Conor). If Khabib gets on top of Conor I doubt he gets up.

He can and will get Conor down a few times, but if he takes too much damage getting there, and isn't effective on the ground, it's going to be ugly. Khabib breaks everyone on the ground though so who knows.

Connors gonna sleep him. I just have a feeling. Khabib moves straight in and out, which Conor has shown is a no no against him.
I always thought Khabib would win. Just have a feeling.

I'm a big Conor fan but I think he loses this one. Not because he's a bad fighter or anything like that. I don't think his head is in it all that much. I said a few months ago that I thought he would lose his next fight.
I'll bet someone $50. I get Khabib and you get Conor.

Khabib gonna be a kabob if he fights the same way he did against MJ. MJ pieced him up.

I'm hoping Khabib doesn't get injured and makes weight.

On paper I feel Khabib should murder him. But I felt the same about Eddie and about Nate. I just cant doubt the guy any longer.

Nate did murder him in first fight, and people that thought he won the second fight aren't crazy. Therefore, your feelings are about 66% accurate.

On fight night Nate came in at 193lbs, Conor was 168lbs.

Fatigue is Conor's biggest rival. It cost him the 1st fight vs Nate, He got lucky it didn't cost him in the 2nd fight. And he gassed out vs Floyd (though it didn't matter, he was going to lose anyways).
All Khabib needs to do is get to the 3rd round.

Khabib not taking any chances could mean a boring takedown clinic decision fight. Hopefully not.

Khabib not taking any chances could mean a boring takedown clinic decision fight. Hopefully not. Honestly, that's all Khabibs fights IMO. He's a decision machine. Awesome grappler but boring as fuck. That said, he will be a terrible match-up for Conor and will more than likely smother him to death. I'll definitely be praying for a Conor highlight KO. There are a couple of other fights I'd like to see Conor in and him getting dominated might ruin those from happening.
