4k seems a bit low. Sporty's sister works for a non-profit, 19 employees I think and pays about 500k/yr because of the ACA and they don't even get as good coverage as Sporty gets, or anywhere near what they used to before the ACA. In the last 2 years the average employees insurance has increased by $4,000.00 per year. I am paying much more per year for them, but I am counting on costs returning to 2013 numbers which would reduce my bill by $4,000.00 per employee. 6 of my employees had to switch doctors, our deductibles have doubled, co-pays are up 300% and all of this comes with a 250% increase in costs. But just call it the Affordable Care Act and it sounds great.

Since Toehold is tapping out I won't quote him here, but his posts have gotten me thinking. I wonder if many of the Trump haters are simply scared of being held accountable for their own successes and failures.
Obama is the perfect president for the feeble mined, lazy, uneducated, weak and failed people. I mean what better that 99 weeks of unemployment, free healthcare even if you don't work, a president who believes that the only reason blacks are a disaster is because of white people, and a president who promises free money for doing nothing.
I believe the current 16-28 year old generation is about as soft as this world has ever seen. They are lazy, antisocial, unmotivated and essentially carry no real value in our society because of the expectations they have for what should be given to them. Trump has to absolutely scare the shit out of people like that, as he is only offering tax decreases and lifting of regulations which will only be realized by people that want to work for it.
Trump's ideas are the epitome of "give a man a fish, he eats for a night... teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime"....... however the younger people and unsuccessful people in our society want safety nets and guarantees, not opportunity.

Trump's ideas are the epitome of "give a man a fish, he eats for a night... teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime"....... however the younger people and unsuccessful people in our society want safety nets and guarantees, not opportunity. I'm not unsuccessful and you don't know anything about me. I'm not lazy or soft and if you are saying that about me I take it as a true insult. I have a job and I've had a number of big successes in my life. My whole family also is liberal and they aren't in the 16-28 year range (neither am I though) and they'd all disagree with you on most of what you say. You aren't just this guy who is 110% right all the time about politics like you think you are.I might be uniformed politically but I'll become more informed in time, and I'm sure I will still disagree with most of your stances and opinions. And I'm not "tapping out", I never wanted in, I just wanted to say that it pissed me off everyone making fun of liberals being upset and scared about our current situation. Give me a few years to learn more about politics, read up more, and I'll come back and have good rebuttals for every single point you make. My own family who is FAR more educated than you are and knows just as much if not more about politics would already have rebuttals for everything you say. But I work hard and I'm not the least bit "weak". Do you have a Masters Degree? Do you have a BJJ brown belt? You ever dedicated 20 years to a martial art and continued through THREE torn ACLs and a torn wrist??
I don't think you COULD do it, so in that way YOU'D be weaker than me.
Ever competed in 34 tournaments, every experience level in No-Gi and Gi, multiple weight classes and won an absolute division by submitting someone 60lbs heavier than you??
Didn't think so.
I thought you were actually a cooler person than you've revealed yourself to be. Granted, you aren't as bad as Garth, but I hate the fact that I am starting to dislike more and more people on this forum. There are now several posters here who I just consider to be plain disrespectful and now your among them.

I wasn't talking about you, calm down.
I was referring to the general anti trump consensus when he hasn't even taken his oath yet. I think you are making up your mind before even allowing him to do his job. There are thousands of people protesting right now and the only way I can make sense of that is they are scared of their meal ticket being taken away.
I do think you are looking foolish for putting people on ignore and begging people to stop quoting you, which may look weak in many people's eyes.

You better as fuck NOT have been talking about me cause you couldn't have done a lot of shit that took a lot of mental, emotional and physical strength I've pulled off in my life. So you really were NOT talking about me when you wrote this??: "wonder if many of the Trump haters are simply scared of being held accountable for their own successes and failures. Obama is the perfect president for the feeble mined, lazy, uneducated, weak and failed people." You WEREN'T saying I was lazy, uneducated and weak and a failure?? Or that it wasn't a coincidence I voted for Obama and those "other liberals" have those qualities? I hope not, and if not, I apologize for thinking you were. But it's hard to believe you weren't in a way because you are saying that I've "got you thinking" that the reason I am a liberal is because I have those negative qualities in common with other liberals. I mean how were you NOT saying that?? How did I "get you thinking" about all that if you WEREN'T thinking that about me?? Working 6:30AM--7:30PM busting ass on a farm for 9 months without missing a single day for shit pay JUST to prove to myself I could do it is NOT a trait of an lazy, weak, entitled person.Working with Autistic kids just to make a difference when it was shit pay and I had to hold them down as they kicked and spit on me is NOT a trait of a lazy, weak person. And lazy, weak people don't work their way back from injuries like THREE torn ACLs to keep competing. So I don't know what about my posting "got you thinking" about weakness, laziness and failure, but you better fucking think again when you are talking about me cause I'm stronger mentally than the people of which you speak. And I ONLY put Garth on ignore (and a while back Cybergod cause he's a dumb crackhead). That's it. I don't intend to put anyone else on ignore, but some people just hurt my brain from their stupidity. You aren't so bad though...as long as you didn't mean what you said to be a reference towards me that is...

Nope, wasn't talking about you. Your posts made me wonder why someone can be all in on a president like Obama or bill Clinton and hate trump. They are all arrogant, self indulgent, and self centered... the only real difference is trump wants to lower all barriers to success in exchange for less entitlements. The only type of person who would be against that is someone who knows they suck ar life and will never succeed

I think if someone literally can't find a job they should be able to have the bare necessities. But I don't need or want welfare MYSELF because I know I can survive without it. There's a lot of other reasons not to like Trump, but I'm not going in to them. So just to make sure, once again, you are NOT talking about me, even though I support social support programs like welfare, social security, etc?? Cause it sure as hell sounds like you are. P.S. My parents, who are Ph.ds, former college professors, sell real estate and my mother is a psychoanalyst, VERY educated, VERY smart, VERY hard working and have ALREADY succeeded, they support those programs too. So your statement that they suck at life would also be VERY untrue. You people make some very general, very unfair and untrue statements.

I'll do it at some point dude, but you aren't going to be able to convince me to totally hate her cause there are certain things I like about some of her stances. Also, you DO realize I am trying to exit this thread right?? But that you and and everyone else is trying to stop me? It's annoying. I never wanted to be a part of this discussion, I just didn't like all the celebrating that people (like my own family) are very unhappy and in fact scared that Trump could do damage to our country.

I'm not trying to change your stance. I just want to you to watch the videos, research the stuff that oc & I recommended so you'd have a sense of where we're coming from. This is just a discussion. Some people(Garth & cybergod) can be cantankerous & abrasive with their opinions & name calling. I do find them going personal & insulting but we've known each other for a long time & I'm not about to create safe space in our glorious forums.

I STILL don't understand how Norcal isn't personally attacking me when he says those that support social safety nets are failures in life and think they will never succeed. I feel that's an attack on not just me but my family.

It still SEEMS like Norcal IS saying that anyone who supports those programs are weak or stupid or whatever, even though he says he's not... Whatever.

Republicans/Conservatives tend to be more cynical. When you support social welfare programs, either you're a humanist that truly care for your fellow men and change their bum lives(conor bless) or a leech to society. Both are true. Cynics would lean to the latter. And they're neither wrong.

She lost. You need a new boogie man to hate now. Make it the banks For once see your real enemy. They tell all politicians what to do. And it will happen with Trump too

And I won't be surprised that these bankers are ringing up Trump's phone right now. My point was, emails have been leaked of Soros dictating to Hillary who she should assign when she was still secretary of state & Hillary followed. The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence. But in Hillary's case/s, they were damning.

My hate for Soros is deep. The Philippine peso basically lost 35-50% of its value after the Asian Financial Crisis of 1997 which was orchestrated by Soros. Now I have to work away from my family.

A year after Bill Clinton met for the first time with soros, at bills first bilderberg meeting, in which they discussed Nafta, Bill was selected for presidency...and of course, one of his first presidential feats was enacting Nafta...soros' idea. Also somewhat interesting, Chelsea clinton is married to george soros' nephew...the wedding in which they used clinton foundation money to pay for.

Toehold, have you ever seen a family that is literally generations into the handout system, is shitting out kids left and right, none of which has ever seen a person in thier family work? And have you seen what type of environment that usually causes?
I have. I see it daily. It's not pretty. And there is little chance, if any, of them ever pulling out of that handout spiral.
And do you think this is beneficial to anyone, mostly our society itself?
I'm all about the fall back on program, they NEED to exist. When I say need, I mean that if they did not, there would be a lot more people out there desperate for money. Desperate people do drastic things.
But...when does the handout end? Why do we encourge bringing more children aboard the family that is on the handoUT system but rewarding the family with more money for each child? Do you see where this is going?
I don't necessarily agree with what everyone says on here but man, you are really prone to just sticking your fingers in your ears when it comes to these types of discussions.

Toehold, you really need an avatar. But based on your love of the welfare state, I don't think you're going to go get one on your own. So here's a hand out. And I bet you're looking at that and thinking it sucks. Well, it's a hand out. It's supposed to suck.

Toehold is a nice guy and I'd like to hear his rebuttal.
I don't see why people have to always resort to bitch tactics and name calling when talking about politics. I really may never understand that part.
Frustration? It is legit frustrating and time consuming to have these seemingly never ending discussions. Especially since both sides are guilty of short circuiting when they get to a certain point.

I don't see why people have to always resort to bitch tactics and name calling Here's why: because each debate's starting point is accusations from the left. "You just hate blacks, hate women, hate, hate, hate." Conservatives being "polite" is how they have lost for so long. It comes across as disingenuous when you respond to an accusation with "I respectfully disagree that I am evil and genocidal." In fact, that's how the guilty act. The innocent do not tend to take very politely to being accused. Conservatives have been harried into a pathetic, cowardly state where they always act guilty and ashamed and point finders at each other
